Stephanie Flanders is Chief Market Strategist for Europe at J P Morgan Asset Management in London. She was previously at the BBC as Economics Editor (2008-13) and Newsnight Economics Editor (2002-2008) She is a former speech writer and senior advisor to US Treasury Secretary Lawrence H. Summers in the Clinton Administration. She has also worked as a reporter for the New York Times, principal editor of the UN's 2002 Human Development Report, an editorial-writer and economics columnist at the FT, and an economist at the Institute for Fiscal Studies and London Business School.
