Pro-Europeans are latching onto Johnson’s challenger, like a drowning person clutching straws. Much better to fight hard to stay in EU.

Brexiters like to lecture on importance of democracy. Their idea of suspending Parliament to force no deal would be an undemocratic outrage.

Candidates rightly want to fix our schools, transport, police, housing etc. But they can’t afford to unless they cancel Brexit.

No pro-European has a chance to win. But by running, they could be a power broker in the next Brexit battles and stop us crashing out of EU.
