European Parliament Elections

Party has twice whipped in favour of a referendum and will probably do so again. But its manifesto is too wishy-washy to support.

Bitterly divided, their vote could be squeezed between pro and anti-Brexit parties. This may represent an opportunity for pro-Europeans.

Other 27 countries will run big risk if we don’t keep open option of holding European elections. But they shouldn’t insist on anything else.

Official document categorically states we need to take part if Brexit is delayed beyond July 1. This must be corrected.

UK doesn’t have to hold elections for European Parliament scheduled in May, if Brexit is delayed, so long as delay doesn’t go beyond July 1.
