By saying he won’t extend transition, PM is putting UK in awful position for trade talks.

Johnson is twice a loser. He failed to get his deal through Parliament and now must ask EU for extra time, something he said he’d never do.

PM’s attempt to bounce through Parliament tomorrow a momentous decision determining many aspects of our lives is outrageous.

PM has broken promise not to separate NI from the UK and signed a deal that means it will be subject to EU laws over which it has no say.

PM has agreed a hard Brexit for Great Britain and vassalage for Northern Ireland. MPs must insist people have the chance to stay in the EU.

PM has closed off every avenue to talks, except on terms he knows the EU can’t accept. He’s wrong to think he can bully it into blinking.

PM’s posturing obscures suspicion he has no clue where he wants to go. His facile positions can’t be construed into a discernible policy.

Even if the EU wanted to, it can’t give UK tariff-free trade after no-deal Brexit because of legal obstacles and angering other trade partners.

Most in Brussels want us to stay, but Brexit fatigue is setting in. We must remind them growing majority of UK citizens want to stay too.
