Boris Johnson said the EU should “go whistle” if it asked for an “extortionate” sum of money. Now our government has agreed to pay Brussels around €45 billion, we imagine the foreign secretary whistling the Ode to Joy.

  • Why is this man not in prison? What sly and evil deeds is he up to when not in the spotlight making a fool of himself and his country?

  • Gove, Johnson, Hunt, May, and possibly others are being controlled by greed, manipulated by their billionaire supporters, with bribery. Their controllers want to be in control of which laws are British laws.
The EU has released a Directive, against tax avoidance, which will become British Law in 2019, unless brexit goes ahead. Stopping that is what is driving all of them. That is why they are hell bent on the UK leaving the EU in March 2019, whatever the cost!
    Read this carefully: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/company-tax/anti-tax-avoidance-package/anti-tax-avoidance-directive_en

  • That won’t work, Graham, since the The Anti Tax Avoidance Directive becomes law on 1 January 2019. The only way it won’t be taken into British law, after Brexit at the end of March 2019, would be to put a specific amendment into the EU Withdrawal Bill or amend it at a later date. Either of which would blow a very loud whistle as to what’s happening and why.
