Alan Wheatley is a journalist and editor. He was formerly global economics correspondent at Reuters, where his foreign postings included Beijing, Tokyo, Washington, New York, Paris and Frankfurt. He is the editor and co-author of the book Power of Currencies, Currencies of Power and is an associate fellow in international economics at Chatham House.
